I used to be a lot more concerned with which version of the Bible I delved into…accuracy is important, but so is retention. It’s imperative the Word and the Spirit make a connection that resonates and impacts our lives. Of late, I have had a growing appreciation for reading from The Message and comparing the language to other translations.
For me, this helps bring scripture to life in terms I can better relate to. Can one really go wrong pondering and meditating on the Words of Life?
