Jeff Sullivan agreed to be our guinea pig. He was the subject of our first ever “Do You Know” feature, and it is still one of our favorites. Jeff is a master of metal art, and he and his wife Carol own A Little Bit Western metal art. His great attention to detail is evident in everything from gorgeous entrance gates and ranch signs to lamps, fireplace screens and wine racks.
We checked in with Jeff, and he said, “Things are good. I still do all of the work by hand and, over the years, I think my artwork has gotten a little better!” When asked about the biggest change since we last interviewed him, Jeff noted, “The biggest difference is my hobby! Back then, our daughter Claye was 8 years old and getting into barrel racing. Now she’s 12, and is rodeoing and barrel racing more than ever, so that keeps us busy.”
He said he’s done a few jobs for some college and professional coaches, along with some interior work in homes, like railings and banisters. He believes in working with clients to bring their vision to life—and he still thinks he’s got the best job he could ever imagine!
