Smiling faces, community spirit and a whole lot of fun made the first Red Bird Fun Run a day to remember! More than 350 registered participants and 60-plus volunteers and cheerleaders came together for a morning of fitness, fellowship and giving back to the youth of Walker County.

The inaugural event exceeded expectations, bringing families and friends together for a cause that reaches beyond the finish line. With approximately $13,000 raised after expenses for the South Walker County Support Group, the event marked a successful beginning for the Red Bird Community Foundation.
