On June 18th, Postcards was honored to be a sponsor for the fourth annual Rays of Hope Donation Drive-Thru!
Hosted by Hello Huntsville, the drive collected over $2,000 in financial contributions, as well as food, clothing, baby supplies, and household items.
These generous donations will benefit Good Shepherd Mission, Care Center Huntsville, SAAFE House, Huntsville ISD Social Services and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. These organizations help put food in mouths, clothes on backs, and knowledge in minds, building a better future for the citizens of Huntsville.
This event reminds us that even seemingly small things, like a pack of diapers or a canned good can make a difference in the lives of the people around us. Rob Hipp, Hello Huntsville founder and event organizer, finds these small things crucial for the community, stating that “when people… give what they can, it makes a powerful difference.”
Built on community friendship and support, Rays of Hope was designed to raise awareness about and give back to a few of the amazing organizations that care for our community. This neighbors-helping-neighbors mentality makes this event close to the hearts of the Postcards Family.
