For more than 38 years, Santa’s Helpers has provided toys at Christmas for Walker County children, averaging 400 children per year in recent years. There continues to be an urgent need in Walker County to support families in financial crisis and with that we invite you to join us in a partnership between Wesley Memorial Methodist Church, the Good Shepherd Mission and other local congregations and student groups by sponsoring Santa’s Helpers.
Santa’s Helpers is unique in that it empowers parents to pick out toys for their children themselves the second Saturday of December and go home to wrap the gifts to put under the tree. We offer sponsorship opportunities that allow your name to be affiliated with this important Christmas program. Santa’s Helpers depends on generous donations from our community in order to continue Christ’s work of taking care of each other.
Please consider sponsoring Santa’s Helpers, 2026 at one of the following levels:
- Star of David; up to $200
- We Three Kings; Bike sponsor, $200 and above
- O Holy Night; Table sponsor, $500 and above
- Christmas Day; Brand Table sponsor, $1000 and above
Often Santa’s Helpers gifts are the only gifts under the tree. I hope you will join us in supporting this important ministry. For more information, please contact the church office at 936-295-7459. If you want to donate in another capacity or would like to make a suggestion, please let us know. We can pick up a check or you can mail it to the address listed above. Please list the sponsor level in the memo line and the name and/or logo you would like listed.
Santa’s Helpers is an amazing ministry that provides families in need with an opportunity to provide toys for their children at Christmas. We hope you will join us as a partner in this important Christmas ministry.
