Mauricio is a senior at Huntsville High School and is the son of Claudia Rodriguez. His activities include National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and Buzz TV. Following graduation, Mauricio plans to go to school for film at the University of Texas at Austin. He believes, “Hard work now opens doors later.”

Aleyah Walker

Aleyah is a senior at Huntsville High School and is the daughter of Bacari and McKildred Walker. Her activities include student council, French Club, National English Honor Society, culinary, National Technical Honor Society, and class council. Following graduation, Aleyah plans to work in pediatric medicine. She believes, “If you put your mind to it, you can do it.”

Faith is a senior at Huntsville High School and is the daughter of Christy Simmons. Her activities include track, student council, FCCLA, culinary, National Technical Honor Society, and class council. Following graduation, Faith plans to become a chef and own her own restaurant. She believes, “Being black is powerful.”

Angeles is a senior at Conroe High School and is the daughter of Blanca Guardiola. Her activities include drawing, reading, and writing. Following graduation, Angeles plans to pursue a career related to art. She believes, “Never give up. If you fall, get up and keep trying.”

Colyn is a senior at Conroe High School and is the son of Carl Howard and Jan Ross-Howard. His activities include skills USA Engineering president, DECA officer, NASA HUNCH program, and working sales at a local car dealership. Following graduation, Colyn plans to be a real estate agent, forex trader, and/or a career in petroleum engineering. He believes, “Observe the masses and do the opposite; there lies true success.

Brandon is a senior at ConroeHigh School and is the son of IrisRichardson and Mario Perdomo. His activities include Audio/Video Production and JROTC. Following graduation, Brandon plans to enter the military and attend college. His philosophy is to conduct himself as a Christian.
