The Huntsville Walmart recently celebrated its Grand Reopening, welcoming community members to see the store’s fresh new look while enjoying a morning filled with local fun and giving.

Community leaders, university officials, alumni, donors, students, and Bearkat supporters gathered to celebrate the official ribbon cutting of the newly renovated Elliott T. Bowers Stadium, marking the completion of a transformative project that ushers in an exciting new era for Sam Houston State University athletics.

The holiday spirit arrived a little early as CASA of Walker County hosted its 7th Annual Christmas in July Bingo fundraiser at the Sam Houston State University Lowman Student Center Ballroom. Community members filled the room for an evening of festive fun, friendly competition, and a shared commitment to supporting children in foster care.
